After a year at university I volunteered here at Sparkling Minds. Since joining the team I have assisted across all three rooms and this has given me an insight into the importance of the Early Practitioner role. I have been praised for my instinctive interaction with the children after I shared how much I enjoyed supporting the children and felt great enthusiasm at the start of each day. I have already learned so much from the team through discussion and observation and I am now looking forward to continuing my professional development after gaining my Level 3 qualification. I will build upon my invaluable 12 months experience of being 1:1 for a little one with Downs Syndrome where I worked with our SENDCo to implement guidance from several professionals and supported progress while building a fantastic relationship with a child and their family.
